Kyla Cook

Kyla Cook is an instructional designer who supports research in the AAALab by creating curricular materials for teachers and students using new technologies and digital tools to enhance learning. Kyla is passionate about STEM education and bridging learning between formal and informal contexts. Before joining the lab, Kyla taught middle school math in Baltimore City, worked as a museum educator at the Field Museum, and developed curriculum at UC Berkeley for Amplify Science. Kyla received her B.A. in chemistry from UC Berkeley and M.A. in teaching from Johns Hopkins University.
